In March 2023, I again tried out for and successfully made the Phillips Exeter Academy Intermediate Certamen Team. Certamen, which is Latin quizbowl/trivia, is a well-known and distinguished competition, with many tournaments held in the nation's top universities. At Harvard, the Intermediate Team performed quite well! We got past the preliminary and semifinal rounds and made it to the final, where we ended up placing 2nd. Throughout the rounds, I contributed quite well to the team, specializing in the grammar and culturalquestions.
Harvard Certamen was a great opportunity, and I am looking forward to Nationals in the summer!
