National Certamen

In May 2024, I participated in the state convention and certamen competition. Certamen, which is Latin quizbowl/trivia, is a well-known and distinguished competition, with many tournaments held in the nation's top universities in addition to the state and national level. I performed quite well at the competition, securing the MVP award for the intermediate division, which is given to the player who answered the most questions. My performance at the state competition earned me a spot on the New Hampshire National Certamen team. At the national convention in Knoxville, Tennessee, the intermediate team performed quite well, making the final and finishing as third in the country.
