In my first year of competitive economics, I made the Phillips Exeter Economics A-team. As a apart of the A-team, I went through three rounds of the National Economics Challenge, qualifying for the National Finals in Atlanta, Georgia. After an additional critical thinking and quizbowl round, we came in as runners-up out of more than 10,000 competitors. My success at the competition proves my mastery over microeconomic and macroeconomic concepts.
