From 3rd to 7th grade, I was lucky enough to be introduced to and involved in congressional debate with IvyGurkul. The classes I was a part of during that time not only helped me become a better public speaker, but they helped me become more aware of relevant current events. I was able to learn about various issues within our country, and due to it being a debate class, learned about both sides of them. Throughout my time in these classes, I was able to win 3 tournaments. I am grateful for this experience, and I am looking forward to continuing debate in highschool.
