In the summer of 2022, I spent 5 weeks at Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. I took part in their Exeter Summer program. The summer program, was a reduced version of the actual school. Although we only had three classes and not a whole lot of homework, the program definitely taught me a lot. From an academic perspective, I was in the mathematics/robotics cluster, and the whole point of the cluster was to teach us good problem solving skills, especially in STEM related areas. The classes I had to take were: Advanced Robotics, Fundamentals of Programming, and Mathematical Modeling. Apart from academics, the summer program showed me true independence and how to live by myself. The dorm life really taught me how to manage myself and be a student at the same time, and I have no doubt this will help me for years to come. Overall, Exeter Summer was a great experience and has made a lasting impact on my life.
